COOKING TIPS

How should I cook my meat?

Cooking methods vary depending on the cut of meat. For steaks, grilling or pan-searing is recommended. Roasts can be cooked in the oven at low temperatures to ensure tenderness. Always use a meat thermometer to check for desired doneness.

Should I bring meat to room temperature before cooking?

Allowing meat to sit at room temperature for 30–60 minutes before cooking can help it cook more evenly.

What internal temperatures should I aim for?

Use a meat thermometer to ensure safety and desired doneness:
Beef (steaks and roasts):
Rate: 110°F (Red Center, Very Cool)
Medium rare: 120°F (warm red center)
Medium: 130°F (warm pink center)

Well done: 160°F+ (fully brown, no pink)

Ground beef: 160°F
